About
Bringing Comfort and Care to Your Home
With deep roots in Long Island and a lifetime dedicated to animal care, Dr. Alex Fasano brings a unique blend of compassion, experience, and understanding to one of veterinary medicine's most sensitive services. His journey in veterinary care began early, working as a veterinary assistant throughout Long Island and New York City during his high school years, where he first witnessed the profound bond between pets and their families.
After earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, Dr. Fasano spent three meaningful years in Miami developing what he values most - genuine connections with pet owners during both routine and difficult moments. His integrative approach to medicine and willingness to think beyond conventional solutions allows him to provide personalized care that honors each pet's unique circumstances and each family's individual needs.
Now back home on Long Island, he has practiced emergency medicine for the past four years. Where he became comfortable with the most critical cases.
Dr. Fasano has chosen to focus on providing gentle end-of-life care, helping families say goodbye to their beloved companions in the comfort and peace of their own homes. His philosophy centers on creating a calm, unhurried environment where families can focus on their pet's comfort and their final moments together.
As a pet parent himself to a French Bulldog named Pierre, Dr. Fasano understands firsthand the depth of the human-animal bond. When not caring for his patients, he cherishes time with his wife and daughters, maintaining an active lifestyle that keeps him grounded and energized for the emotional support his work requires.
Dr. Fasano's commitment to compassionate care is reflected in his approach to in-home euthanasia services:
Creating a peaceful, stress-free environment
Taking time to understand each family's wishes
Providing gentle guidance through difficult decisions
Ensuring dignity and comfort for every pet
Supporting families through their grieving process
